By Baniya Beast,
Is it a sin to be a Smallcap investor?
Answer to this question is dependent on the time and mood of the market. Tough to digest it but this is the modus operandi of investing ecosystem.
You need to go through all that pain
You should have not invested in Smallcaps. These are farzi companies with chor Promoters.
Comeback here means no verbal response.
Your portfolio allocation was your biggest mistake. You should not invest more than 10% in one stock. Your aggressive allocation has ruined your portfolio returns.
Tujhe portfolio mein Largecaps rakh ne chahiye the. Yeh Smallcaps ka koi bharosa nahi.
If you have studied so much about the company, sector and even met the management then how can you make such a terrible mistake of investing in the losing company?
Your stocks will never rise from these levels. Your stock picking was pathetic.
I’ve heard all this and more. What I understand is that you need to isolate these discussions.
You need to keep researching about the company you’re invested in and invest more if you have the conviction and access to funds. Market does sometimes offer you the opportunity to buy small stakes in the company at a throw-away valuation.
Your stocks will make a comeback for you.
The prices will rise again, not when you want, not when you forecast but at its own will.
This will be your comeback.
And you do not walk to these naysayers when this happens. You behave in a rational manner and indulge in quality discussions if they offer.
Even if the stock price rises, you do not go prove yourself to them, because you never had to prove them anything. You owed them nothing.
